I've shot at W&W during many a rain storm. The rifle benches are pretty well covered and we can always go inside and watch TV in the lounge.

Weather is calling for clouds and possible rain in the morning but clear in the afternoon.

Don't worry about it.

I just finished packing my stuff, so I might me a little late tomorrow (today) depending on when I wake up. I should be there before noon, though.

OK, for those who've asked and would like to compare: I'll definitely have one Glock Model 21 with me and, at least, 200 rounds of ammo; for authenticity, it will be fitted with a stock barrel. I know that one of the people in our group has Heinie, 'CGR/Straight Eight' sights on his Glock that I'm sure he'll be glad to let you take a look at, too.

Then we'll, also, have the usual assortment of shotguns and assault rifles. One member of our group enjoys long range hitting and wants to give the 500 yard targets a try with his new, ‘reach out ‘n touch someone’ special. (Should be interesting!)

Me? I'll probably spend much of the time trying to wear out the barrel on my Browning shotgun. It’s 6:30am; it’s raining in Scranton, and nobody’s called, yet, to cancel. 30 more minutes and they’ll be at my door – So, see ya all soon!

My area seems to be clearing up as well. I'm down close to Doylestown/Dublin though.

Sometimes I Think....

... that fate(or the shooting gods) don't want me to ever make another one of the these get togethers.

Late this Friday afternoon a flare-up of the spouse's diverticulosis, which is then considered as diverticulitis(hey, this is how the doc explained it to me). Significant enough to warrant a CT scan after drinking some type of Barium carrier solution and associated regimen. Well, LSS, she's okay(not admitted as of last night) and is only on antibiotics, though she's very uncomfortable.

As I have always followed, fun after responsibilities, I'm nursing the wife and the shooting will wait for another day. To all that were there, I hope that all had a good day and perhaps next time will be one that I can make. To all, Shoot Safe, Shoot Well!
