16ga manufactured by Smithsonian..value?
I am new to these forums. They are excellent. I have an old Smithsonian 16ga single shot. I can't find any information on value after many, many Googles.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or let me know what, if anything, a gun like this is worth? Thanks for the help. |

Your shotgun is, as termed in the industry, a "Hardware Gun", and that is, made by a major mfg for a hardware store. The Smithsonian is a trade name issued to Iram Shue of Hanover PA, but the gun was made by Crescent Firearms Co,
To place a value on the gun is difficult over the net. Crescent collectors would be interested possibly. HJN |

Thanks for the information. The gun has bounced around the family for years. Being relatively new to shotguns, I was curious if it was of value.
