Boyt holster cracking
Hey. I just got a 1942 brown Boyt holster at a gun show and and there is some cracking across the flap where it bends when you fold it back to holster the weapon. What can I do to treat that cracking and try to prevent other cracking. Also I need to soften the inside a bit. It’s kinda like sandpaper! Thanks!

Restoring leather
Your leather has dried to a point of the fibers breaking when you bend the leather. This is a common problem and the leather needs to be restored. I use Picard products but there are literally hundreds of dressing you can use..
