Yup, because, you know, it's not like MURDER is already completely banned or anything.

Does this surprise anyone? The only thing that surprises me is "CLIPS CLIPS CLIPS HIGH CAPACITY CLIPS". If you're going to ban something at least try to ban the right thing. Poor Garand owners will have to hand load all their magazines if she has her way

It doesn't make for a very good argument when you know so little about something that you want to ban that you can't even use the right terminology for it. It would be like the Department of Highway Safety saying "There is no need for anyone to travel over 70mph so we are going to ban transmissions that can go over 3000 RPMs". It doesn't make any sense in multiple ways.

Also OP is a drive-by, better edit in some commentary before the mods get to it

Knew it was coming

Well we all knew it was coming and not surprising she wants a magazine ban.

The good news is that the NRA was very successful in getting pro 2nd amendment candidates elected in Nov and there is a good chance her bill will never even get out of committee. Since the Repubs control the house they control all the committee chairs and bills that a committee chair doesn't favor almost never get out of committee.

Now this lady's home state has had large clips banned since Clinton and through today. Yet, her family members and others were shot in a senseless murder despite that ban. So, what's the point??????????

Once again proving you don't have to have common sense to be elected to Congress!

It's nothing but bloviating.

There will be no new gun control.

3 things:

Heller
McDonald
Republican control of The House

Ok - it's a drive by.

Next - recall that On December 7, 1993, her husband, Dennis, was killed and her son, Kevin, severely injured, on a Long Island Rail Road commuter train at the Merillon Avenue station, when a mass murderer, Colin Ferguson, opened fire on random unarmed passengers

So what do you expect?

Gun control measures will go nowhere - look at the Congress. Duh! Or move to the mountains.

Again - clips? The antigun folks can say clips but YOU don't here! And please panic and buy all the extended mags before the UN comes for you.

I'm disgusted with the antigun tantrums of some like MSNBC but I don't need panic in the gun world. Here come the Zombies!
