Mossy 590A1 upgrades

I have a Mossberg 590A1 and would like to upgrade the Mag. follower and spring.

What parts do you suggest?

Thanks in advance!

There's no reason to "upgrade" the spring, since the Mossberg spring is completely reliable and long lasting.

If you insist, I recommend buying a spare from Mossberg.
Unlike many after-market springs, the Mossberg won;t have to be shortened or altered to fit, and since it's a direct drop-in, there's no chance of over-shortening the spring.

For followers, Brownell's sell good ones:

Wilson Combat also sell a bright green follower that's very good.

Ditto on the spring, my 930 SPX spring is 2/3s the size of the replacement Choate spring that came with my +1 mag tube(the SPX comes with a +2).

I use the factory SPX spring in both extensions and the high vis Choate follower. My 500 has the Brownells Stainless follower and factory spring.

Thanks guys.

I was thinking along the lines of when I needed a replacement spring that I would look into an "upgrade" but I like the idea of stock if they are good and reliable. (I had heard some grousing regarding the longevity of Mossy stock springs.)

I like the idea of a more visible follower for my old eyes....
