New Glock 43~ 2 different Mag bottoms

Howdy folks- I'm a new gun owner of the one mentioned above. i was cleaning it and noticed a difference in the 2 mags that come with the brand new package, case etc. they are 6 cartridge units and 1 has a lat bottom while the other has what seems to have cupped extension on the base. still all one piece but just a wrap around extension that is longer in the front and diminishes as it approaches the rear. I sent an email to Glock and when I did saw a message saying how many emails they receive and that I may take a while. That's why I thought of trying here. It almost looks like an extension for a +1 load mag but only in looks. Any ideas? I attached 2 jpg and hope they come up. Thanks

One gives you a little more grip length and the other is easier to conceal.
