Well, It’s amazing what a new battery will do for a Chrony..

On Memorial Day I posted this:
“.45 Data from Colt 1991A1 All commercial cases and WLP primers.
230 gr FMJ, 5.3 gr WW231. *Too Hot*
1168fps, 1166fps, 1176fps”

Bogus, bogus, bogus… triple bogus data..

I changed battery in my Chrony.. big difference, here is the correct data

230 gr FMJ, 5.3 gr WW231. – heavy taper crimp
674fps, 663fps, 691fps”

“.45 Data from Colt 1991A1 All commercial cases and WLP primers.
230 gr FMJ, 5.4 gr WW231. – medium taper crimp
746fps, 748fps, 773fps”

Here’s some 223 data also
223 data - using Bushmaster 1 in 9 20", all LC brass with WSR primer.
24 gr IMR4895, M855 62gr pulled.
2418fps, 2376fps, 2378fps.

Thought the Chrony had a low battery indicator on the display?

If I let it sit long enough with the old battery I see a colon come on in the middle of the 4 zeros. Is that the low battery indicator?
