Need a little expert help.....
I have been reloading for some time now in bits and pieces, mostly my wildcat carts and 45LC and 44mag , mostly, and some various med rifle. My help needed is this....
Almost all the powder i use is 1 lb cans of H110 , H335 , 2400 and 3031...Have not tried other newer powders, just stick with the same old.. I'm considering buying a large amount of powder, for rifle and one for large caliber pistol... Is there a suggestion of 2 or maybe 3 powders that will take care of most of my needs, as it will be hanging around for several years... Thanks much !! |

You didn't mention what your rifle calibers are, but I;ve been working down a purchase from Jeff Bartlett at GIBrass.com for a few years now. I got some pulldowns that load like H110 (works well in all the mag pistols as well as 30 Carbine), H380 (works well in 308 and 243, probably OK in a lot of others as well). If you are going to load with commercial powder, people really like Varget for its versitility. For non-mag pistols, I really like VihtaVuori N350 ... great in everything from 32acp to 45acp.

You need to post a FULL list of the calibers that you'll be reloading.
Only after we know that can we make educated suggestions.
