Converion Cylinder for 1873 Cattleman ? ?

Does anyone make a converion cylinder for this Pistol ?

There isn't any after market conversion cylinder for it.

The firing pin and hole in frame is offset to make conversion difficult but it can me done. just not easily.

i thought a 1873 colt peacemaker was already in 45 colt?

I think he's talking about the C&B version. At least that's what I assumed.

i wouldent call it a 1873 peacemaker if its not in 45 colt

You have to either weld up the off center hole in the recoil shield and make a new one, or install a bushing that centers the hole, then install a centerfire firing pin in the hammer, and find yourself a .45 Colt or .45acp cylinder.
