Weaver VS Millet extended rings.

Another stupid "Comparison" topic, but I was wondering of the differances between, and if anyone has used the Weaver or Millet extended rings?

I'd like to use the Millets, being all-steel VS the Weaver's aluminum base, but the Millets are windage adjustable.....is that a bad deal? Or just loc-tite both sides?

Thank you for your help.

I have and use both brands but I don't feel the Milletts are as solid as the Weavers. The Weaver has one solid locking side while the Milletts only have a "tab" with a screw thru it and can't provide the same stability. The Milletts do provide some horizontal adjustment if needed for centering your scope.

Use the one that fits your gun/scope best and accomplishes the reason you need extendeds.

I'll probably go Weaver. Thanks for the input.
