RG 25 help
OK guys, I've read all the stuff I could find here - and I know that few, if any think this gun is the cat's meow - but:
I'd like to try to work on it and I'd like to find a manual or take down sheet, or something like that. I think I can come up with pieces, etc., but the nuts and bolts are what I need. Anyone know of a site, company, whoever has a manual, etc.? Please feel free to email me directly (PM) as I don't get as much time to search as I did at one time! Thanks, as always, you're the best! Try here for a parts diagram and the parts themselves:
http://www.gun-parts.com/rohm/ They really are a simple pistol and not a bad design. The problems were in the cheap materials used not the design. Jim |

The 'how-to' will get me!
Thank you - I had rolled through this site before, so I may go that route. I was hoping, however, that there would be someone who knew where I could get a "how-to" kind of manual for it.
I'm sure I can see it now - I pop out a pin and springs, pieces, and various parts end up all over the floor! I did that once to my Hi-Point and the firing pin landed in the trash can! God bless and thanks again. Margiesex NRA Endowment Member |

Some would say that is the right place for a Hi-Point, but I found them reasonably well made and extremely reliable, much more so than many guns that cost a whole lot more.
Back to the RG-25, the main point where you can lose parts is when you dismount the slide. If you get past that point, the rest is pretty easy. I know of no take down instructions beyond removing the slide for cleaning, or any manual that goes into detail on repairs. But if you know anything about how guns or mechanical gadgets work, that pistol should not be any real challenge. Jim |
