Scope recommendation
I'm trying to find a scope, with the following parameters
variable to 14x 40MM or better Mil dot Reticule Focus ( paralax adj) 1/8" adjustment A sunshade would be icing on the cake. Right now, All I have is about 350 dollars. That is all that is in the budget, so obviously the really good scopes are out. Reccomendations please? |

That's a tall order. I think something will have to give and even then it's hard to find one of great quality in that price range. I have listed one that meets most of your requirements. Is 1/8" adjustments really needed? How about the mil-dot? It would be an understatement to say the average benchrest rifle isn't capable of shooting 1/8" groups at 100 yards. If you learn your load, the mil-dot isn't needed if you have time to dial in.

Well, the mil dot really isnt needed, and I rekon I would go down to 1/4 adj. What is the consensus in Nikon Buckmasters?
