Colt SA

Colt SA, .22 lr, black grips with eagle and colt emblem molded in. Case hardened frame blued barrel & cylinder. Markings on barrel are 1861, 71,76. Shot some, but not worn out - still tight, typical wear on the cylinder and muzzle, no rusting or pitting, NRA 90%. Still rather tight.

This is for a friend, I am not a Colt SA expert and he gave me this info over the phone. He wants to know, what the heck is it and was $100 too much for it? Sx

Need the SN to pin it down and all markings. Should be more markings on the bbl. Sounds like one of the Scout variations. They were made from @ 1957-1986. Regardless, if he got it for $100 and it's a Colt, he got a deal.
