Lee Handheld Press

I bought a Lee Handheld Press Kit off Ebay a while back. The one that comes with the press, lube, a ram prime and a powder funnel. I waited two weeks and it FINALLY came. I have all the powder, primers, brass and bullets I need...

and the jackass on Ebay sent me a 40th anniversary bench mounted press by mistake.

Did I mention I already HAVE one of those but can't use it due to space restrictions in my apartment and that's why I wanted a handheld in the first place? Grrrrrr

Well, since you have two of them try using one as a hand press, it really won't make a lot of difference.

You guys are nuts, this bench mounted press goes for 37.98 brand new on the Lee site and the hand held press goes for 47.98 so I'm getting ripped off even before you factor in the part where I was supposed to get case lube, a funnel and a ram prime.

And what was the seller's response when you contacted him about this? What has Ebay said about this transaction gone awry?
btw - the Lee Handpress Kit is $37.99 ; the press alone is $27.99 (the same price as the Lee Reloader press).
You can, in fact, use the Reloader press as a handheld.

That's from the Lee site with the prices I quoted. That's just for the presses themselves, the Hand Held Press Kit is $60 FWIW.

The seller has not gotten back to me yet, the mistake was discovered yesterday evening. I thought I'd give him a chance to respond before siccing Ebay on him.

Why are you arguing about this?

Bottom line is I ordered one thing and got something completely different. What I received is:

1.) Something I already have.
2.) Something I cannot use.
3.) Something I do not want.

I got a Lee Reloading Press and wanted a KIT that came with a Handheld Press. I was using the information I got from Lee Precision's official website to demonstrate that the handheld press sells for more than the reloader press so I could illustrate why I was frustrated. This ignored the fact I was also supposed to get a handful of other supplies which are the only things keeping my jars of brass from being loaded with gunpowder and lead.

It's a very frustrating situation and I certainly did not get an item better than the one I ordered.

Every time I use my hand press I end up dumping a load of powder on the floor. It works great for depriming.

Lee Handheld Press

"jcsturgeon", instead of complaining on this forum why not complain where it will be of some use?

1 - Why not contact the seller?

2 - If that does not work, file a complaint with ebay?

One way or another, it will be resolved to your satisfaction IF you complain to the correct people (that means to the seller and/or ebay).
