Info on Sako

A friend needs this info - Did Sako (or does) make a model 491? A friend has the opportunity to buy a varmint model in .17 Rem. Serial #s491 833xxx. Any information and a guess on value for a decent condition rifle appreciated.

There is a Varmit model listed in the 1999 standard catalog of FIREARMS reference guide, which list a heavy bbl in 17Rem. The values listed are $875.00 to $200.00. I find no listing for a 491.
