Do you know this gun?

I came across a 300 Win Mag today, and it had a very unique stock. It was either a Ruger or Beretta. I can't remember for sure, but am thinking Beretta. But, whatever it was it had the company name embedded on the side of the stock. It was real thin, synthetic, stainless steel barrel. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Which?

Except for the caliber, you are describing my Ruger Mark II 7.62x39 all-weather rifle.
