sights shooting loose

I have a Gunsite Pistol with Novak low-mount sights....but the rear sight keeps shooting loose....any suggestions?

Lok-tite blue would be my only suggestion, Red if you really want it to stay for good..

You can also tighten up the fit a bit by raising the metal under the sight. Take a sharp center punch and tap some dimples on the flat where the sight rests. It is best to do this in a "X" pattern. Don't go nuts and pound the punch into the slide, all you want to is a series of small dimples to slightly raise the metal

Recommend you perform that on the base of the sight, rather than the dovetail of your slide. Easier and cheaper to replace the former, than the latter.

In have always used Joe's procedure. It is easier to hold the rifle for center punching than to hold the sights.
