12 gauge forend for 16 gauge Wingmaster

If I purchase a 12 gauge Wingmaster forend will it fit my Wingmaster 1960 16 gauge?

Do I have to by a new tube or slide?

Think I read somewhere that my 20ga Wingmaster that was gifted from my Dad back in '58 uses a 12ga mag tube. Need to look into that just to know. Gun is basically retired now, like me. Still good as new, wish I was. GW
