Pistol Comparisons (pic heavy)
Continuing the previous post...
This first image will show an in-hand comparison of the Glock 17 with no additional backstrap, then the FNS 9 with the arched back strap, finishing with the FNS 9 with the flat backstrap (I've small hands!). This next image is just a quick shot of the RAMI and P-07 grips side-by-side: |

Great pics again, Gustavito. Some of your pics of the Beretta came through fuzzy, however.

QUOTE: "Excellent pictures and comparisons. Wonderful job.
But it all makes my old head hurt. By the end, they all look alike to me." Pass the aspirins, UncleEd. I'm starting to count pistols instead of sheep to fall asleep. But, in all seriousness, you guys have done a lot of work to provide an excellent source of information that would be hard to obtain from any other source. Keep up the good work.

A quick update with some pictures provided by a good friend of mine who just picked up his CZ P10 C earlier today, and sent me a few shots of it next to his P-07 Duty so everyone could get an idea of how they compare in size.

One of my LGS's got in a P-10 C for their rentals, and though I didn't have enough time to shoot it any, they were nice enough to let me snap a few pics of it beside my (lightly modded) Gen 4 Glock 19. Hope y'all enjoy!

[Sigh!] Things were so much simpler when the Gun Digest had only one service-type auto pistol, the Colt Government Model! The Good Old Days!

Beretta PX4 G Compact and Gen 4 Glock 19:
Jim, I remember one of the first issues of a gun sales mag I saw as a young lad LOL. Nothing but Colt Government Models (and associated knock-offs by Llama), Browning Hi-Powers, and the original Smith & Wesson Model 39 and 59. The revolvers saw lots of S&W Model 19's and Colt Pythons and, for dirt cheap compared to what you see them sold for today! |

I saw a couple SAR K2P mags early in this thread. Any chance you have the actual pistol for comparisons? I feel like those comparisons would be useful in the search for compatible holsters and other accessories.

Pistol Comparisons (pic heavy)
Sorry, haven't had the Sarsilmaz or Tangfoglio for a couple of years now. The only pistols in my current collection are my pair of CZ 100's, DAO-converted P-07 Duty, P-09 MHS, P-10 C (on layaway), Glock 19, Beretta PX4 D, and Stoeger 8000 LT. The Beretta PX4 Compact in the most recent picture I just posted was actually sold to a good friend last night.

Figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

Hi, this is a "Tanfoglio Force 99" as it is known in Argentina is
similar to the one you ask for. I hope it helps you. Greetings. Last edited by Gustavito Glock; September 3, 2017 at 07:52 PM. |

Thanks Gustavito. It's called the Tanfoglio Witness here in the states.

Pistol Comparisons (pic heavy)
Been meaning to do this one for a while, and now can finally get around to it. Nothing major, just a couple of relatively newer, repeated additions.
Beretta PX4 Compact and HK P2000SK Two points; one is the obvious fact that I used both my P2KSK V3 AND V2 LEM for the shots. Two, the bottom image shows the HK with the newer 13-rd mag intended for the P30 SK/VP9SK to demonstrate height comparison. It makes a world of difference to me, in spite of carrying a couple less rounds. Works fine in spite of not matching the P2000SK’s aesthetics. Now to get the Beretta “fixed up” haha. Working on possibly converting it to DAO like my factory full-size “D” Model, and of that doesn’t pan out I’ll just go the route of a “G” conversion with slim decock levers. Either way, putting the filler plug in place of the right side slide stop/release lever and adding night sights very soon as well. |

Here’s a few quick shots I snapped earlier today of the newest family member beside one I’ve had for awhile.

Pistol Comparisons (pic heavy)
Just a quick update since the latest “hot comparison” seems to be the first two in this series below.
Glock 26 vs Sig P365: Even though this seems more applicable several years ago, I know there’s probably a few others besides myself who carry one of the subcompact HK variants, be it the P2000SK, P30SK, or VP9SK. My apologies that I don’t have one of my Glock 19 mags handy to use for comparison vs the HK 13-round mag (shown in previous post with my PX4 Compact). I’ll include that as a separate image later.
