That's a steal of a price. Gunbroker shows most stainless ROA's in like new condition go for $400-450.

It's my experience most buyers well make a offer 10-20% less than asking price. I price with that in mind.

You should buy them and then sell, you could make a few hundred quick dollars.

I agree that the majority of guns listed on Gunbroker are listed at to high of price. The key is the look at completed auctions. You see what actually sold at what price. Opening bid price, reserve price is meaningless, the selling price is what you want to see.

That's about $150 too high. Fixed sight models are bringing that much, but the adjustable sight versions are much easier to come by and don't command a price like that.

I find them mostly on gunbroker - $500 minus "about $150" equals "about $350", not $300.

Sorry Chief. I'm waiting to get up the 'scratch' to buy them myself. Now that I see I can make at least $100 on each of them, and still be 'honest'.

madcratebuilder stated $400-$450, and your post followed his, so I assumed you were referring to his post. A reasonable assumption, I think.

As for your Gunbroker examples, perhaps the reason the first one sold for less is because of what the listing said: "This gun as you will see has pitting on the metal due to the previous owner's lack of proper cleaning skills...This gun has a 7.5" barrel and the bore is pitted pretty well...there is some pitting on the frame of the revolver and inside the area where the cylinder sits." And the second one is not stainless steel; it's blued and "has had some use", a description that would scare anyone away. They hardly compare with a stainless gun shot less than 30 times.

$500 for the gun described in the OP's post is high, but not out of the market. Your examples define the low end, poor condition below market guns or guns that are simply not the same configuration - apples and oranges.

Well, if the $355 ROA doesn't do it for you, how about A $100 WINCHESTER 1897?

I've paid between $235.00 and $412.50 for my ROA's, and wouldn't even give a used adjustable sighted model @ $500 a second look, it's just too much, plain & simple.
