Stoeger Coach or Uplander?

Hello All,

Trying to decide between coach or uplander.
I'm looking for something that can eventually be used for cowboy action if I ever get the gumption to get into that. Until then, it will be used for skeet/clays/etc. Not sure if coach gun would be good for the skeet and not sure if the uplander would be good for cowboy action.

What say y'all?

Thanks

The uplander will be fine for CAS. You don't need a coach gun for it.

Uplander if you want to shoot skeet with it.

The Uplander is a pretty decent shotgun for the money.

The Uplander is more refined, has a longer barrel and rubber butt pad. The coach gun is shorter and solid butt pad, more of a plain Jane model. I choose the coach gun as I felt it has more period correct, plus I preferred the shorter barrel.
