Mystery Mauser identified

Saw a "mystery Mauser" at an on-line estate sale last month. One picture and a description that said simply "7 x 57". Intrigue got the better of judgement and I bought it.

The mystery Mauser finally arrived--Brno VZ 12/33 in the form of a Brazilian 08/34 in the original 7mm. All matching and in great shape. Metal and bore excellent, wood pretty good.

Nice work ! Do you still have all your arms & legs, or did you have to give one (or more) for it ?

It was not too expensive, PetahW. I'm too cheap to pay much for anything.

cuffkey, I've got a 1908 Brazilian Long rifle also.

Until I received the 08/34, I didn't realize that the Brazilians bought any short rifles from BRNO

I love the crests also. I previously considered buying one just b/c of how great those crests look.
