AR 9 bolt carrier
I'm building an AR-9 off of a psa dedicated Glock lower. The lower says it has to be used with a psa hybrid bolt. I've read that they're bolts are made by new frontier armory and that the only requirement is that the bolt has to be grooved for the Glock mags and that you can use a new frontier bolt. Anyone have experience using a new frontier in a psa lower? Hoping that the new frontier bolt will work because the psa has been out of stock ever since I starting building the ar-9 and no telling how long before I started the build. Any help would be awesome!!

This is why I went with a new frontier lower and a bolt that works with glock mags. Done deal.

Honestly, I would e-mail or call NFA and ask them if it is compatible.
Be specific... bolt hold open, etc... 9MM platforms can be fussy. Judging by the photos on NFA's site... mine looks different. Oops... mine looks like the "AR-9 Standard 9mm BCG (Glock & Colt Compatible)" They show a modular one as well. Last edited by bfoosh006; July 26, 2017 at 03:09 PM. |
