209 dumb newbie question

Got som Speer Gold Dot bullets .452. Want to get some sabots for these for use in my 209 in-line. I see 2 different brands of sabots listed as .451 and .452. Does 1/1000 make a difference? Either one OK to use?

I have seen bulk sabots that say "for use of .451-.452 bullets". You will know when you try to shove one down the barrel. Unfortunately, not all barrels are create equal, a 50 cal barrel can vary from .497-.504 and is why some guys can stuff one easier than their buddy standing next to him stuffing the same bullet sabot combo in his gun.

Either is probably okay but if one sabot says .452 and that's the bullet you have- might as well buy that. It may load a little easier.

if that doesnt work, return them and get a different sabot with different size. or if it is to small, you could try a very very thin patch.
