Red Dot Problem

In order to do some work on my Buckmark I removed the Burris Trophy red dot scope. When I put it back on the image was very blurry.
Tapping gently had no effect so I removed it again. The next day I picked it up and the image was crystal clear, so I remounted it. Again the image was very blurry. I removed it again and set it aside. This morning I looked at it and the image was still a little fuzzy, but not as bad as when I removed it.
I have had, and used, this scope for 2 or 3 years with no problems.

Check the dial to make sure it's centered on a power level number? Same for the reticle dial (if the model has multiple reticles)?

Sounds like something is being pushed out of alignment, possibly when you tighten down the mount.
