Cheek Piece

Where can I find a cheek piece for a Savage 111? I'm a deer hunter that is new to long range shooting. Also should I get a bipod? I like simple.

Any advice for a beginning long range shooter would be appreciated. I will be shooting 500 to 600 yard shots.

Look if you really need a cheek-piece, make one yourself.
I use a shell holder that fits around the butt, and add a chunk of foam, cut to your specs, and slide it inside the shellholder, maybe "hotglue" or epoxy it in place.
There's one fella that has help video's on youtube,( I cannot remember his name) that uses a piece of wood with two dowels attaching it to the stock, but is removable, and he slides a nice shellholder right over it.

I like the Smith Enterprise --- M1A/M-14 cheekpiece, that is on my Rem. 870 Law Enforcement...which does reduce felt recoil on my cheek
