Here is a traditional style from Andrews Leather.

Well the link didn't work. Google Andrews Leather Spring Break.

I am aware this thread is rather old. But I stopped in for a spell to say a thing or two.

Like a lot of you I’ve been on the trail a long time, and learned a lot along the way.

Had the opportunity to hang out with some pretty good guys along the way. Even managed to learn a thing or two from some who had seen more than me. They help remind me the price many paid so we can enjoy this lifestyle, our constitutional rights, and our country.

My collection of holsters almost matches my collection of firearms. You could say I purchased a few leather goods here and there. I bought some holsters from Sam Andrews at http://www.andrewsleather.com/ and some from Carl and Amy Collins at http://exodusgunleather.com/.

There’s one more I can add to that list, http://www.wildgunsleather.com/.

I bought the Original Dirty Harry shoulder holster a while back for my S&W mod 29. Like the other holsters I bought through the years from other dealers, I dealt directly with the owner. Jerry Ardolino will spin you a few yarns, just like all his fellow leather makers. Must come with the territory.

The Original Dirty Harry shoulder holster is the same rig that Clint Eastwood wore in the film series. You can catch a small glimpse of it in the first film. But you really see the holster on display in the second one, Magnum Force. If you want authentic - look no further. This is it! The real deal. Jerry ‘made my day.’ And the Dirty Harry shoulder holster he made for me makes my gun.

Holsters, like firearms, are a personal choice. We like what we like. I like mine made well to work well. But I go the extra mile for authentic, too. That goes for my Dirty Harry, as well as all the other holsters I own.

If you’re looking for a recommendation on holsters, you can buy store bought straight off an assembly line. Or you can pay a little more for handmade. Custom made by those with a passion to do what others can’t …or won’t.

Craftsmanship deserves craftsmanship.
I take comfort in that.

Just a few thoughts before moving down the trail some.
Thanks for reading.
