Colt 1917

Just picked this up today. Mechanically perfect, hardly any wear, bore and cylinders are very nice, no discernible wear at the rear of the frame. Has had an old refinish, some pitting, marks and patent lines very faint, but still, got it for $450.00, plus $30.00 for the transfer. Ran two moon clips through her after a quick bore and cylinder cleaning. Functions perfectly. The SILE grips feel really good in my hands as well. And she even has the lanyard ring. Serial number is 3020XX if anyone can tell me a date to go with this 1917 I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Greetings. Try this.

https://www.colt.com/serial-lookup

The US Army number is NOT the serial number.
