Dont fell too bad about the bolt price. My suggestion was gonna be buy a 5.56 bcg, pull the bolt out and buy a 7.62x39 bolt at Aim Surplus, shove it in the carrier and save or sell the spare bolt. But, cost would have been around the same price.

I have an AR47 and use both Stoner and C Products mags with 100% reliability so you shouldn’t have any issues there.

Enough time has elapsed. Did you get a bcg / bolt?

No, I have not gotten the bcg.
I have purchased an overpriced one online for $220!: https://www.durkintactical.com/produ...carrier-group/ and I am waiting for it to arrive tomorrow. Although they say its not for use with russian primers (voids the warranty). I plan on putting an enhanced firing pin on it and an extra power extractor. When the vendor sends me the bcg I will use it as a spare. All in all this has been a frustrating experience and I do not want to smear the vendor online yet as I think that small businesses deserve a break, and these are hard times. Hopefully the rifle will turn out to be extremely accurate because apparently this builder is known for that. You all are a great support by the way, this is serving as therapy

I did not know about Aim Surplus, I just checked them out and they do have 7.62x39 bolts in stock! I had not been able to find them anywhere before. I bookmarked them for future reference. As I was saying in a previous post, this ordeal has been a textbook example of panic buying. I just did not know what was going to happen on the 20th, and I feared the executive orders to immediately come down. I still don't know what is going to happen in that regard, so I do not regret the decision. I only wish I would have decided to purchase my 1st AR last Spring.
