Check length may need trimming cases stretch during sizing.
Are you full length or neck sizing? If not partial or full length may need too. You have to bump shoulder back enough to chamber and bolt close . Since you are shooting in just one gun can partial full length size move shoulder only .001-.002 works well. Hope this helps Roc1 |

Thanks. I've checked the length, but I'll do a recheck!

Even if you full length resize and then trim to length you can get resistance on chambering if the brass is work hardened to give some springback.
Annealing the neck and shoulder can help with this. Also taking the expander ball out of the resizing die and sizing the neck in a separate step with a mandrel die can help. Jimro

I was having the Sam issue and set my shoulders back .0035 instead of .002. Working great now.

First off, the round isn't "chambered" UNTIL the bolt is closed. Make sure your sizing die is in solid contact with the shell holder WHEN A CASE IS BEING SIZED. Some presses will have enough flex to fail this test when sizing tough cases. |
