I also don't measure OAL after setting up the die for my pistol rounds so I couldn't tell you how much variance I have there either.
Every few hundred rounds I'll check a couple rounds and adjust as necessary. The limits between min and max OAL for 45 ACP are large enough that it just isn't hard to stay somewhere in the middle.

I never trim pistol cases. If I find a bad one I just toss it. I've tossed more cases for other problems than for case length.

nope

Kuhio: Pretty much the consensus is "not to worry". I fall into the "I've never....."school of thought and practice. That goes for all the pistol rounds for which I load (from 25 ACP up to .500 S&W Mag.)
OAL has been explained. Effect of crimp has been explained. Effect of seating depth on pressure has been mentioned. About accuracy - a question:

These are just target loads, so accuracy isn't paramount.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean there. If accuracy isn't paramount in a target load, then when would it be?

I'm sorry, I should have said 'practice' loads or plinking, perhaps. I'm not concerned with achieving the best accuracy, just need it to cycle efficiently and punch holes in paper.

A variance of +/-.002" is fine (great, actually).
There are very few circumstances where 9x19 case trimming might make sense.

Handloading requires defined goals; recommend, in this order:

1) reliable function

2) controllable accuracy

3) economy

4) ease of manufacturing

5) other stuff....
