Feeling dumb right about now.
Every day when I go to the forums, I've been seeing that warning at the top of the page about the new TFL policies on quoting copyrighted materials - the one that went up about the time Righthaven started suing everybody.
Today, on a whim I clicked the little 'X' to dismiss it, and evidently that dismisses the warning *for good*, not just for that session. When did that warning go up, anyway? 2010? I can't believe I looked at it for that long, not knowing that I only had to acknowledge it once! |

I'm not sure exactly when it went up, but it's been well over a year. I guess we should make it clearer that the notice can be dismissed after reading. [Edit] I just did that in case there are others who weren't aware they don't have to read it more than once. |

The TFL Copyright Policy went live around August 10, 2010.

Most likely better than the authors of the notice!
