Clear Ballistics 10% for the casual shooter: worth buying or a gimmick?

If I plan to maybe lug a chunk of CB gel to the range, or pop arrows into it on my land, is it worth buying?

I had thought about making some with catering gelatin, but have since decided it's not a good idea, but what about the likes of Clear Ballistics 10%?

Have you bought it and decided that it's either a great buy, or do you wish you'd spent the money on something else?

And if you think it is worth it, what size is worth getting for arrows and pistol calibres?
