I am looking to buy a remington model 722 .257 roberts. I do not know any of the history of it, the serial # is 352744. I am looking for any info on it I can find. Age, value. other than the serial # there are only a couple of symbols on it. any info would be greatly appreciated.

York, to determine tha age of your Model 722 you'll need to look at the barrel near the left side of the frame. There you should find a series of two or three letters. If you could post this information someone here at TFL can tell you what year your rifle was made. Hope this helps!

The only two letters I saw on the left side besides the patent info was AA.

York, your Remington Model 722 was made in March of 1954. A Model 722A (field grade - no checkering) in excellent condition and chambered in .257 Roberts could be worth about $360-$420. Hope this helps!
