Up Again... But How Long Will It Last?

Let's see if I can post this before the site goes down again...

TFL has only been up for a few hours total this year as far as I can tell. What's the deal? There have been a few threads that seem to indicate it is a database issue rather than a server problem or one of those flooding schemes to extort $...

I guess I could be more patient if I knew the cause.

As it stands it kind of seems like this site is on its last legs. A guy can only look at an error page for so long before he is forced to assume that the site is a thing of the past.

Is TFL going to be usable in 2008 or are we going to be stuck with inferior gun forums?

I'm not happy with the condition, but I am reassured that I'm not the only one who is having problems.

Did anyone find out why the server does not respond at some times?

Look folks, before we start spreading rumors, read what tyme said here.

So, if you know about PHP programming and server side includes, then you might have some clue as to what is going on. If you don't know this stuff, isn't it best to google it and find out before you get your knickers all wadded up?

Unless or until the owner, Rich Lucibella, comes online and says we are being retired, don't start ugly rumors with idle speculation.
