1917 Eddystone Enfield
A friend has an original action and bolt from a 1917 Enfield made at Eddystone. Does anyone know where to get a barrel and stock?

If you don't get any responses, then I would re-post the same question in either Rifles or Gunsmithing or both. And Numrich ( www.e-gunparts.com ) is always a good place to start.

the orignal caliber for this rifle was .303 british, then we entered the war and we switched it to 30.06. I have even seen them in .300 win mag. The parts might be hard to find. Good luck.

I just restored a Winchester-built M1917.
Springfieldsporters.com is a great place to get all the small parts to restore a 1917 Enfield. Occasionally, JA and HS barrels can be found on eBay. There is usually a 1917 stock on eBay too. |
