Silicon Valley Shooting Instructors/ gun shops/ ranges

I rec'd a note from a gentleman that lives in the Silicon Valley area and wants to find "gun shops or trainers in our area who specialize in supporting women". His wife knows how to shoot revolvers, but he would like her to learn semi auto pistols.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have options. Some of them:

http://www.bamm.org/ (not sure about firearms training)

Reed's Indoor Range is (in my male opinion) one of the most lady-friendly ranges. Jane is usually behind the counter there, and the place is clean, well-lit, and run by professionals.

No gang bangers or other seedy types there... whereas I can't say I've had the same experience at other ranges in the Bay Area such as Jackson Arms or Target Masters West. Just my opinion.
