Gun Rack
Im looking for a gun rack to mount 1 or 2 shotguns vertically. I have a 10-inch wide space in my walk-in closset to place two shotguns on the ready. Can't seem to find any. Any suggestions?

1) 8 foot piece of 1X10" pine will be enuff to build a wall mounted rack...
You are basically making 2 sections with both being made of 2 pieces into an "L" shape... The bottom needs a little strip on the front edge so the butts don't slide off the front. The top piece gets large holes bored for the barrel to pass through. Insert barrel into hole, raise gun above bottom shelf and set down butt onto it... That is my redneck way... Brent |

Gun Rack
Thanks all for your ideas. I particularly like Noyes' post on the Firearm Racks. But, I will be getting an 8-foot length of pine and making my own and incorporating some of the ideas from the Firearms Racks website. Two Mossbergs will be mounted in the finished rack. Thanks, Hogdogs, for your inexpensive idea.
