Things I'd like to see in S.W.A.T.
Articles on more training schools. Particularly, Insights Training Center, Options for Personal Security, and Tactical Defense Institue.
Article, or column, on nongun defensive skills. Knife, unarmed, weapon retention, baton, OC, verbal skills, EVOC skills, etc Article, or column, comparing different methods from different trainers. Articles, or column, on scenario-based training. I would like to see SWAT magazine pick up the banner for integrated training. Have articles and columns that do more than give lip service to the idea of a broad range of defensive skills, actually present a "big picture" view of all the skillsets needed to ensure personal safety in today's increasingly violent and inhospitable world.

Gomez-
Thanks for your input. Just a few of the articles we have on tap include a piece on The Internationsl Security School (Israel), the Chandler/Reifinger sniper course at Blackwater Lodge, Thunder Ranch's Team Tactics, deploying the folding knife, OPS Defensive Knife course, Firearms Educational Enterprises' Tactical Academy, a feature on a dive school, an article on defense/techniques written specifically for "handicapped" persons and much more.
