Beat Cop, Tips, Tactics, and staying alive...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mstgqKU5h4
While out at the range the other day I put together a few tips, tactics, and lawful methods of defending yourself. I didn't use the normal range for this, as they were set up for competition shoots. This is street experience talking, not some classroom tips limited by CYA and convention.

I like it Wild Bill. Situational awareness is important and recognizing your assets in your environment - we all need to do that.
Making the right decision at the right time - that's a tough one. That one comes with experience and age and instincts. Sounds like you need to do a little PT and get that cardiovascular pumping a little more efficiently if possible? One other thing. Don't underestimate a man with a knife who knows how to use it ... especially a young man who suddenly turns into a fast moving target rather than a stationary target ... a fast moving target moving towards you.

How about let's play nicely together, gentlemen...
If you don't, you'll get to see example of moderatorly martial arts, which we like to call "staffoo."

Well I was going to make some comments on Street Cop Survival but I see this turned into a peeing contest early so I decided not to play.
