Need Rifle ID and bolt

One of my old friends has the rifle he got as a kid but over the years the bolt was lost. Any help in ID and parts info would be greatlt appreciated.
It's believed to be from the 1930s. It's a single shot .22 rifle, no serial # ever it's of the era when inexpensive guns did not have #'s. Marked: Ranger .22 short, long, and long rifle. M-34 is the only designation. The reciever is held to the stock by one screw in the manner of a Stevens. I need a complete bolt assembly.

According to my records, the only Ranger I could find, with your description is

Ranger 101.8 Stevens 15-120
Bolt action .22 Cal single shot rifle Made from 1948 to 1965

You can probably get parts from Gun Parts of West Hurley NY 914-679-2417

That picture looked the closest but the details were poor.

Good find! I have a Ranger 101-12 that just came in to my shop from a friend who inherited this Rifle. It's marked 22 short and 22 LR. It looks to have factory drilled side mounts for a scope (left side of receiver). I had assumed it was a Sears imported product. He's looking (as I am) for any info on this nice old rifle. This is the only site I've been able to find regarding this brand rifle thanks to you folks. Any info would be helpful.
He also inherited from his neighbor that passed, a Colt Official Police 38 spcl.
and an old Ithica model 37 12ga shotgun in mint condition. It's one of the first Featherweights. These are very, very old models. He's a lucky man.
