New IWB Holster at K&D Holsters

We've been developing, and now have ready to offer, a new IWB holster. It's similar to our Cochise Defender, and I took influence from some other popular holster makers.

Some of the features are:

- Thin;
- Adjustable kydex clips for cant and depth of the holster/gun;
- Tuckable;
- Suede-lined backing for added comfort;
- Extension of backside of holster to cover slide and hammer area (also gives as a push-off point when drawing the gun);
- Tried to keep it simple.

Here are some pics for your review:

The holster is named the "Dakota Defender," and is available for order. It's not yet been placed on our website, but you can contact me via pm or email or by phone if interested. The price is $65 + $5/shipping.

Thanks for looking.

K-Man,

Looks great! Nicely done. I have a Colt Night Officer that would look good in that rig as well as a couple of 4.25" Commander-sized pistolas.

Any idea how long it will be before you offer it for S&W single-stack pistols (i.e. Model 39's)?

Travismaine:

Which Milt Sparks holster are you referring to?

EricN:

I've not yet got that aspect (thumb break) developed yet for this holster. If you'd like to check back with me in a couple of weeks, I would hope to have something done by then.

BillCA:

I can get one or two of the S&W 39 series guns. Send me a pm or email and let me know which one you're interested in and I can see what I can do.

Travismaine,
This may be the holster you were thinking of, it is made by Eric Larsen at HBE Leatherworks. IWB COM 3/DC Special. His work is very nicely done.

2cam2go:

Looking at Milt Sparks' holsters, I suspect Travismaine was referring to their Watch Six holster, not Larsen's DC.

That might be what I'm looking for. I hate how regular single-clip IWB holsters tend to twist/rotate. Anyone using one of these willing to post some feedback?

Thanks.
