Barrel for Remington 870

I have a Remington 870 Express that I use for deer hunting. I was wondering what barrel you would reccomend for spot shoots. I don't need anything fancy or expensive, I just want something I can use so I can go with my friends. Looking to spend at the most $150. Thanks for all replies.

jpoagrhs, not sure what you mean by "spot shoots" Typo?? do you mean sport shoots? At any rate are you looking to shoot clays or live birds? Or are you looking for a barrel to shoot slugs out of? Just about any gun shop should be able to order you a slug or a shot barrel within the $150 you want to spend.

The best all around barrel for bird hunting and clays shooting is probably a 28" barrel with rem chokes. This is a good compromise that will handle everything adequately.

One of the great things about the 870 is that there are so many different choices in barrels and accessories.
