1940 Mauser 98 "carved"

I found this while talking guns at the Early Bird Restaurant. Payed 1000.00 for it. It has a lot going for it. Quick release scope and a Mauser plastic butt plate. I found a double pull trigger that will fit it with the drop plate. I want to know if it will drop the value when I install the trigger and hing plate. http://

link doesn't work for me...

link goes nowhere for me as well . . . .
If a pair of '51 Navies were good enough for Billy Hickok, then a single Navy on my right hip is good enough for me . . . besides . . . I'm probably only half as good as he was anyways. Hiram's Rangers Badge #63
