1858 Pietta Shooters Model
Here is a link to a Youtube video that I made earlier this year on shooting my Pietta 1858 Remington .44 "Shooters" model. Once there, click on 720 HD:

The Shooters Model is different than the target model which is a standard Pietta 1858 Remington with target sights. I used to have one. Used a .451 or .454 round ball. The Shooters Model has standard sights and progressive rifling. It takes a .457 round ball like the Ruger Old Army.
Dixie Gun Works sells them. I paid considerably less for mine some 17 years ago. https://www.dixiegunworks.com/index/...roduct_id/8629 |

I see...it's a basically a standard model but has progressive rifling and takes a larger ball. Wow, progressive rifling must be an expensive process! Thanks for the explanation.

Nice shooting and neat video!
Your voice reminds me of Jim Scoutten's of "Shooting USA" fame.
