ITAR FFL 06
If someone was interested in selling reload ammo from my understanding they need a FFL 06 & also to register with ITAR & pay the anual fee. When exactly is this fee due? Before you apply for they type 06? As soon as you get approved? A set day during the year? Before you sell any ammo?

Actually, it's $2250, and it's paid yearly. Take that into account, because it's going to be a recurring expense.
You can theoretically get around it by declaring that you won't be exporting anything, but it's not an easy process.

Thanks Tom.
I knew how much it was and that it is an annual expense but I was curious as to when it is due. I've done some research but I can't seem to find this info anywhere. Is it due a certain day of the year, for ex. every Jan 1? Is it due before I even apply for they FFL 06? Or is it due before I make any sales? |
