Do they make
Ok, I know I'm a little oddball, but I was wondering if anyone makes a .32 or .36 muzzle with a 40" barrel and no brass on it.
I found a 50 cal Pennsylvania rifle, but it has more brass than you can shake a stick at. Poured pewter, steel, copper, anything but brass. Well, most anything besides plastic. |

There are numerous builders and companies that can build such a gun for you on an individual basis. Try Tennessee Valley Muzzleloading (TVM).

A lot of the originals if not most were fitted with iron. Best bet is buying a custom or buying parts from Pecatonica River Long Rifle Supply. http://www.longrifles-pr.com/ They don't sell kits but sell suggested parts for just about any rifle you can imagine and I think they will inlet to any degree you want.

poor boy
The plain longrifles are sometimes referred to as southern "poor boy" rifles, or "southern or Tennessee Mtn" rifles. There's an outfit in Corinth MS that makes a no frills poor boy and they are highly regarded.
