.22 conversion kits for 1911's , have 2 now..FUN

A few weeks back I acquired a Kimber conversion kit and with MiniMag or Aguila rn 4o grain ,decent shooter and way cheaper than even my handloads for the ,.45.

yesterday I acquired an Advantage arms unit and when new....these two were used...barely.. The AA units are WAY cheaper than the Kimvber,and in our test the AA shot rings around the Kimber for 25 yard accuracy.

What a hoot these kits are.2 of my buds are getting them now after shooting mine.

..conversion kits CAN cost up to SEVEN BILLS, but if yo find a used one for a good price like I did, try one out. Heck the AA is only 265.00ish, brand new,the Kimber about 435.00. Sure you can just buy another gun but this way you are using the frame that your hand and brain are used to.

...Converting takes a couple of minutes is all.
they are ammo picky so either MiniMag round nose or Aguila 40 grain rn and life is good.

i have a Advantage arms conversion that i put on a Caspian dedicated frame i built...i love that gun very much...and fun to shoot too....mine doesnt seem to be too ammo picky...it will run just about anything...prolly been 15 years now i guess since i built it...did a parkerize finish on the frame with black sand grip panels...looks good with the AA upper

just be careful... after a good time playing with the little 22 for a while...i have notice that when you go back to the bigger shells the first couple can catch you off gaurd....lol with the recoil...lol....yep hang on to it
