Soooo... Crescent Model 30???

My friend has a Crescent Firearms Model 30, late production, which appears to have armory steel barrels, not Damascus/Twist.

Any hope of shooting this working class classic, or is it strictly a wall hanger?

I have one and have shot it a few times reduced load. I don't really like the way it recoils, so it stays in the safe. I was given this gun, and used it for practicing rust blueing.

Your biggest issue is likely the fact that old doubles have old school stocks, not always but mostly.
Really depends on the gun.
