I recently upgraded to IE 5.5, and now my last login cookies are reset anytime I open another link within a post. When I come back to the forums menu page, it shows that there are no new posts since my last visit.
Not a big deal, especially if you're going to new software, but kind of a pain... |

You may want to check your internet options and verify that it is checking for newer versions of stored pages on every visit to the page.

Morgan,
I'm on IE 5.0, so I don't know if this will help you. Also, there may be other (better) ways to achieve the same ends... Try this: - Go to Tools" - Then to "Internet Options" - Then the "Security" tab. -- If set at high security, cookies are disable. -- If set a medium security, cookies are accepted. That might fix your problem. If someone has a better way, please tell Morgan and me, ok? BTW, I clear out (delete) Cookies, History, Temporary, Temporary Internet Files at least once per day. And that makes MY return to TFL rather "blank" as you described. ((Now let's hear from the experts!!)) |
